MAKE A PLAN OF ACTION THE DAY BEFORE

Write down a list of tasks you want to complete the night before you go to bed.

When you wake up in the morning you need to know exactly what you need to do in order to have a successful day.

Make a list of everything you want to get done in order from most important to least important.


ELIMINATE ALL DISTRACTIONS WHEN

YOU’RE WORKING ON YOUR BUSINESS Shut off your phone, log out of the social media websites, and

block certain websites if necessary. The internet itself is very distracting and if you don’t eliminate all distractions you well end the day without getting much done.

If necessary, play some music to keep you focused and slightly entertained while you’re working on your business.

VALUE YOUR TIME Learn to say “no” and don’t accept anything that will prevent you from completing your daily tasks.

If a friend wants to hang out, tell them that you’re busy and let them know when you will be free.

Don’t let others stop you from getting your work done. Time is valuable and if you don’t take control of your time, other people and other events will take control of your time.



PLACE A DEADLINE OR A TIME LIMIT ON YOURSELF

If you find yourself moving very slowly through your tasks, you’re probably lacking a sense of urgency.

You need to set deadlines for your tasks to be finished. You also need to use time limits to push yourself to move faster and get things done in an efficient rate. (For example, give yourself 10 minutes to check your email and after 10 minutes you must move on to the next task)

If you want to increase your productivity and focus even further, you can add punishments to your deadlines. (For example, if you don’t finish writing a 500 word article in 30 minutes, you must give $50 to a friend or throw it away.)
