3. Create a Band

We call each groups’ private space as ‘Band.’

By creating a space just for your team, BAND makes communication sweat free.

Tap on ‘Create a Band.’ You can also discover Bands that are open to the public, or find your invitation.

For coaches, “Sports” is obviously the best one. BAND provides presets to different types of groups.

Upload a photo of your team. Let your members know this is the place just for you.

‘Secret Band’ only allows members with an invitation to join.

Enter your team name. This name will be used on your invitation message as well.

You can use a wide variety of features on the Group Board. Check them out!

Group Chat & Calendar will definitely be helpful too!

4. Invites Members

Now, it’s time to invite members and start communicating.

Send an invitation via email, messengers, SMS (text), or copy & paste the invitation link.

Tap ‘Members’ icon to send invitation to members and check who’s in your Band.

You can send the invitation virtually everywhere.

The invitation your members receive will look like this.

After downloading / installing the BAND app, the members can see the invitation & join the Band you just created.

Useful Tips forSports Team Bands

1. Share Schedule & RSVP

Remind players when and where practice/games will be by using the Schedule feature. You can also check who’s coming through the RSVP feature.

Share important dates on the Team Calendar

You can also add RSVP and include maps to make sure everyone goes to the right place.

2. Check Size for New Uniforms

Use the Group Poll feature to reach a consensus quickly. Make decisions on a new uniform design, collect members gear sizes, and vote on where to go for your team party.

When posting on the board, use the Poll feature to reach a group consensus or gather your team members’ opinions.

You can even find out how many different sizes you need to order.

Assign tasks or check payments through the To-Do List.

Add the post as a notice, from there you can check who has read your message.

From league fees to purchasing new uniforms, track all those payments with the To-Do List.

4. Archive Memories

Create team albums to archive your unforgettable moments. Everyone can contribute when creating these albums (even your family members too).

Create albums for the season or for tournaments. Store the precious memories in one safe place.

Everyone can contribute. Family, friends, & teammates can all display their memories in the Archive.

5. Chat & CallFor urgent issues, you can send a chat to the whole team or selected member(s). You can also start a group call with your members.

Invite everyone or selected members to a chatroom to talk about urgent issues.

If a group chat is not getting to the point, you can always start a group call.
