Before you do anything in your business you need to decide how much money you want to make. What is your dream income?

Yep, this is step number one.

When you have this vision mapped out, everything you do for your MLM business will be easier and smoother.

Ev-er-y-thing. It’s the first most empowering thing you can do for yourself and your business.

You’re effectively telling the Universe/Supreme/Inner Self what you want and you’re planting yourself there.

Think of it as less of a goal and more of a desired outcome.

Personally, I prefer to think in terms of outcomes rather than goals because goals can be missed (like a missed

goal in soccer).

Just a slight mental tweak that I’m experimenting with. Seems to be working.

Outcomes are like the “reaction” in the famous and true equation “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.”

After setting your income vision, your actions of scientifically and efficiently building your MLM business online determine your outcome vision.

Your actions — and the Universe’s actions (http://yourbrainonyou.com/read/), when you decidedly, faithfully, state your explicit desired outcome — produce your outcome.

And it’s easier to do those actions when you have a vision… a vision that you can not only see, but feel, smell, taste and hear.

You’ll see what I mean in a minute as I’ll write out my entire vision for you to imitate.

Your brain is a God-like instrument. It creates. It’s a reality creating machine.

You know this.

Plus your brain has been yours since birth! You’ve always had the power to create your reality.

And you always will.

If you dig this sort of thing: we are created in God’s image. Each of us has the power to create his/her own reality.

Setting your dream income vision, like you’re about to do below, is the most precise and sound way to set your dream income that I’ve ever found.

To me, it’s pure gold. And if you do it — which I strongly urge you to do… you’ll also find it’s pure gold.

Acres of diamonds, baby. Right there in your noggin, your imagination.

It’s proven: your brain is awesome. It’s an awe-inspiring force of nature.

And you’re awesome because it’s your power to use it.

One more quick caveat before we get started: it’s not enough to just generally desire wealth to do good with.

Everybody does that.

Nor is it enough to only state your exact amount you want to make.

To make this effective and make it come true you want to set:

• the exact amount

• the date you’ll be making this amount

• the reasons for wanting this amount

• what evidence you’ll have of that outcome, and

• a visual and sensory description/vision of your receiving/realizing the outcome written in present tense

It’s important to describe the moments with as many senses as possible of when you gratefully receive your desired outcome. And write it in the present tense.

Because this all makes it more real to your interpretive brain. By doing this, you put yourself there.

Please, I implore you, do this step before you do anything else.

It’s that important.

It’s the meat and potatoes, if you will. It’s the kit and caboodle.

It’s a vital part of the foundation of rock upon which your business is built. If you skip this, you put yourself in the position of building your foundation on sand and your MLM house may well fall in stormy weather.

It’s the first part of learning to fish.

OK, enough with the analogies. You understand, right?

Forming a desired outcome focuses your body’s and mind’s energies into producing that outcome. Like an arrow along the path to its target.

And this, as I’m sure you’ll agree, is far more desirable and efficient than having your energies pointing in a dozen different directions.

By the way, this is something I only recently began myself. And it’s working wonders in my life.

Follow my lead…

Exact Amount

The exact income I will generate is $10,000 per month

Date

I will achieve this in the next 90 days, making Saturday, March 22nd, 2014 the moment of truth.

Why (My reasons for wanting this amount)

First and foremost, I want complete and total freedom. I know that money buys that! And for now, $10,000/month buys me all the freedom I’m able to consume.

Tangential to complete freedom, I have a strong desire to become. I love the act of becoming. The maxim I learned from T. Harv Eker — that my income can only grow to the extent that I do — is very important to me. I love becoming more skilled, more knowledgeable, better in general, more efficient, healthier, more valuable. I love becoming. I love growing. Thus, $10,000/ month will reflect the person I am becoming.

I want to pay off my student loans, credit cards and any borrowed debts. With $10,000/month, I will be able to

take care of these relatively fast.

I want to become an investor and put my money to work for me. This amount easily allow me to invest in stocks, real estate and launch new businesses.

In concordance with freedom, I want to purchase peace of mind and security. $10,000/ month in cash flow will allow me to build a sizeable reserve to protect me, my family and friends against the unthinkable happening. (For example, if the Internet were to end tomorrow, I don’t want to have to go to work for someone else again.)

I want the ability to spoil myself, my family and our friends. I’m pretty minimalistic when it comes to material possessions, but I do like nice music equipment, books, nice computer-related technology, great food, nice clothes, luxury vacations, sublime, fun experiences, and surprising people I care about with nice things that they’d never be able to purchase themselves.

I want to live completely in the moment and enjoy every day to the fullest. Having an average of $333 flow into my Empower Network account every day? That should do it… ;-)

I want to travel, learn languages, get to know other cultures. In fact, in other countries I know that money often goes farther, so $10,000/month would seem like even more!

I also want to give all the haters, the doubters, the naysayers and the pessimists a big ol’ middle finger. $10,000/month makes me a serious player and not just some college dropout dude who got lucky or who’s riding a wave that won’t last.

BOOM.

What evidence will I have of this outcome becoming reality?

This one’s easy. I’ll just log in to my Empower Network back office and look at my affiliate commission stats for the previous 30 days.

I’ll also be drooling over the $10,000 that’s being directly deposited into my business Credit Union account throughout the span of these days.

Visual and Sensory description of receiving my desired outcome (written in first person, present tense)

I, Drew Doggett, am sitting in my office chair at my desk.

My computer clock reads 9:27 AM.

The day is Saturday, March 22, 2014. The spring equinox was two days ago, and as always, I’m excited about this. I feel the spring fever within me, beckoning me outside to play and enjoy the day.

It’s a cozy temperature in my office and I feel a draft on my feet from my open window.

It’s pretty quiet, laid back. I hear birds chirping outside and a plane passing overhead.

I take a sip of my freshly poured high quality green tea, lightly sweetened with local honey and breathe in, moan, and smile.

The tea smells wonderful, rich and healthy.

Instantly, I feel charged, focused and grateful for everything around me.

Sip number two… Ahhh, what a perfect, invigorating cup of tea!

I’m feeling calm, relaxed, grateful — I’m feeling UP and YES. I am here to serve.

My focus shifts to my laptop.

I take in a deep, smooth breath, saying mentally, “I am.” I hold it for a few seconds and slowly breathe out, saying mentally “love” and “wealthy.”

I become nervous with anticipation.

Today is the day. Did I surpass $10,000 over the past 30 days or come up short?

I knew it was gonna be close.

I click on the Chrome icon, wait for the browser to cue up. I type in Empower Network Login (the browser remembers it). My username and password are already filled in so I click “Login.”

I crack a smile; carefree, joyful, grateful, excited.

I view the “Affiliate Commissions” tabs under “My Business” and my eyes take focus.

It takes a few seconds to sink in but at the same time I’m calmly celebrating. An inner joy and calmness and knowing washes over me.

$11, 576.54 in affiliate commission in the past 30 days.

I did it! And it’s only growing.

I’m so enthused! I want to celebrate and dance up and down. I want to share my excitement with everyone, with my family. I want to smile and make jokes and laugh and scream “Yaaaaah!”

I want to celebrate. Because I did it.

I look up and sit back. Every bit of uneasiness has left my body. I take another sip of delicious smelling and tasting green tea. I relish it.

I feel powerful. And at peace.

Maybe even a little cocky. In my mind, I’m imagining Local H’s “Rock ‘N’ Roll Professionals” playing while I do a happy dance in my room.

I look out my window and reflect on the 90 day journey I just completed.

My mind fills with the day’s possibilities.

I already have a blog post scheduled to be posted today, so it’s my choice whether I want to write today. I choose not to. I want to play and celebrate.

I begin planning a celebration dinner or a celebration outing for my family.

Hmmm… where to eat… Ruth’s Chris or Opal Divine’s?

Perhaps someplace swanky I’ve never been to. Maybe a nice “expensive” steak.

Decisions, decisions.

I’ll decide later.

For now, I want to serve my team, see if I can help anybody today.

But first… I get busy mapping out my next income goal.

$20,000 per month, here I come.

See how I did that? I made my vision in the present tense and using all my senses so I could really be there when I read this back to myself.

Don’t neglect this step. It’s vital to your success.

Write this out right now, using mine as an example if you need to. Write it by hand, in blue ink and hang it up where you can see it, or keep it by you so you can read in the morning and at night, everyday, for the next 90 days.

Add to it if you need to. Revise it as you need to.
