generated URL
This can improve the understandability and usability of your links
For E.g. : www.yourstore.com/products/#electronics/1123564/@sony is
a system generated URL , you can create a custom URL for this as
www.yourstore.com/electronics/sony-bravia ; this URL is easier to
remember and understand

Step 1:
Log in to your store admin panel with your login id and password
Click on the ‘Promote’ tab and select ‘SEO suite’ from the drop down
menu

On the custom URL page under ‘Category pages’ option you can enter a
desired category name by clicking on the ‘Custom pattern’ radio button
To save your changes click on the ‘Save Changes’ button

Your page URL should not be more than 100 characters
Don't change your URL frequently. Take care of URL structure
optimization when you setup your online store at the beginning
Limit the number of words in your page URL's. It should not be greater
than 10 words
Keep only keywords in your URL's and remove all numbers & words such
as "the", "of", "in", "your“ etc in the URL
