This replacement procedure can be used for:VW TRANSPORTER IV Box (70A, 70H, 7DA, 7DH) 2.5 TDI, VW TRANSPORTERIV Bus (70B, 70C, 7DB, 7DK, 70J, 70K, 7DC, 7DJ) 2.5 TDI, VW TRANSPORTER IVPlatform/Chassis (70E, 70L, 70M, 7DE, 7DL, 7D 2.5 TDI

CARRY OUT REPLACEMENT IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER:

Open the hood.

Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, in earlyspring and autumn seasons.
Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the partoperation provided by the manufacturer.
If the air flow into the cabin has sharply reduced, replace the filterbefore a scheduled maintenance.
All work should be done with the engine stopped.

Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.

Press the retainers. Remove the cabin filter housing cover

Remove the cabin air filter housing.

Remove the cabin filter.

Clean the cabin filter housing and cover.

Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the qualityof air cleaning inside the car.

Remove the filter element from the filter housing.

Install a new filter element into the holder, and then the entire assembly into the case,
aligning the element upper part with the housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to
the housing.

Remove any debris from the cabin filter housing carefully to preventcontamination of the ventilation duct.

Install the cabin air filter housing.

Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.
Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.
Take care to only use quality filters.

Reinstall the cabin filter housing cover. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked
in place.

Remove the fender protection cover.

Close the hood.
