Here are the steps you need to take to put DNA holders and nail clips in the Spooky Remote.



Step 1: Put the DNA samples on a piece of tape. Fold it over in half lengthwise.



Step 2: Label and date the sample to prevent mixing them up if you are working on multiple samples in a remote.



Step 3: Put the tape into the remote between the two green plates and try to line it up so it's in the very center of the top circle (the magnet on the top of the remote).



Tip: Dymo template for nail holder label For those who happen to have a Dymo Label writer printer lying around, here is a nail holder template based on the Address label 99010. It fits perfectly into the remote. The Flower of Life is printed on the label to help position the nail sample. I partially lift the top part off the paper, leave the nail in the middle of the flower and put the label back on the paper. When inserting into the remote, the nail will align in the middle of the coils.
