Social Media Marketing• Consider the following questions
• Who is your target?• Age, gender, sexuality, race, regional, etc.
• What kind of personality do the people usually have?• Laid-back? Serious? Mature?• The message can reflect your attitude toward the consumer.
• You have to use more formal words and tone for mature consumers. • You can use informal words and tones for younger consumers.
• When are your target group of consumer access the social media usually?• Time-management
• For example: Social media activities are very active in 8am – 12pm (New York Time) in China, but less active in the US.
• Remember: social media has activities 24 hours/ 7 days. It is better to plan and organize.

• Narrow the target. • Find out the social media that your potential clients/customers often use
or mostly use• Friendly and personal reach the customer.• BE CREATIVE!
• “DON’T” • Use all different social media that you have been using (Very
dangerous)• No specified plan (disorganized)• No time-management (disorganized)• Randomly put messages on social media (make your business like
spam)• Ignore the request from potential customer on social media (VERY
WRONG).

(1) Be creative• Go back to your products list and classify them (Medical
products)• For example: Eric owns www.cpapoutlet.ca
• List of products• Accessories (lotions, pillows..etc)• Humidifiers• Machines• Masks• Etc..
• Which one can potential have more consumers? Lotions and Pillows!

Interaction with people on LinkedIn• Join group and make connections (For wholesales)

spam, scam, or message created by machines. • THAT IS A BIG TURN OFF
• People don’t want to have spam on their social media• So.. Delete…Block…Ignore!
- Be Consistent.- Time organized - Plan to post the message regularly.- Not like robot created messages.

(1) Find someone to promote your business by using Fiverr.com (US) / Sooqini.com (UK)
• Cheap and effective• Has to be careful select the service providers.
(2) Create backlinks
Increase the ranking on search engines- Yahoo! Answers – answer people questions related to your
business- Create blog messages- Reply blog comments with your business links
(3) SEO and hashtags• People can search your products quickly
