How to Pray(Salah)

SALAH

• Clean clothes

• Clean place

• Make Wudoo’

• We face towards Ka’aba in Makkah

Raise both hands behind ears. Say Allahu Akbar أكبر الله(Allah is the Greatest)

                  

  

                  

  

Step 1: Takbir

Standing, put right hand over your left

Boys: Fold their hand under belly button Girls: Put their hands on their chest

Recite Surat Al-Fatihah and a short Surah or few Ayat

Step 2:Qiyam

Bend down saying: Allahu Akbar

and say Subhana Rabbiyal Adhim 3 times العظـبِم رِبَي� سبحان

(Glory to my Lord the Great)  

Step 3: Ruku

Stand up from Ruku saying:

"Sami'Allahu liman hamidah" ِمده َح� لِم�ْن� الله سِمع(Allah hears those who praise Him)

Stand straight and say: Rabbana lakal hamdِم�د الح� لَك� رِب�نا(Our Lord, praise be to You)  

                    

                    

Step 4 

Say Allahu Akbar , then make Sujood by putting your forehead, nose , hands, knees and toes on the floor

In Sujood, say: Subhana Rabbiyal A'la 3 times أألعلى رِب#َي� سبحان

(How Perfect is my Lord, the Highest) 

Step 5: Sujood

Sit up from the floor saying Allahu Akbar

Sit upright with your knees bent and palms placed on them

Then repeat Sujood again

                    

                    

Step 6

One full Rak’ah =

To start second Rak’ah, you stand up saying Allahu Akbar and repeat these steps

Qiyam Ruku 2 Sujood

Juloos

After second Rak’ah, you sit down to read At-Tashahud and As-Salatul Ibraheemiyyah

Now turn your face to the right saying: Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah   and then to the left repeating the same words

الله ورَحِمُة* عليُك*ِم السالُم*

(Peace and Mercy of Allah be upon you)

                    

                   

 

Tasleem

Say Dua at the end

Fajr 2 Before sunrise

Thuhr 4 Early afternoon

Asr 4 Late afternoon

Maghrib 3 After sunset

Isha 4 At night
