Save your PowerPoint as…
• Once finished with a PowerPoint make sure to save as a PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation.
• Go to http://www.slideshare.net (create a FREE account if you do not have one) and upload your PowerPoint.
• After it has processed, copy the embed code into a blog post, publish or save, and now the PowerPoint will be viewable.
Caveats…
• Any sounds, movies, or transitions will be lost once you upload to Slideshare.
• However, for a simple Powerpoint, Slideshare is a great option.
• A solution to explore if you want to have audio, video, and transitions show in your PowerPoint is iSpring Free (Do a Google search). This PowerPoint add-in enables you to save your PowerPoint as a Flash video file that could then be uploaded to YouTube, Google Video, or TeacherTube and then embedded into a blog post.
