Additional Fields usage
Manage users with Docebo tools
In this lesson you will learn how to customize subscription fields using the Additional fields
tool and how to decide which data you want to associate to each node of the organization
chart. Than, you will be able to organize users in the
best way for your business.
Lesson purpose
Go to the Administration
Create additional fields
Click the Settings icon and select the option Additional Fields
Create additional fields
Choose the kind of additional fields you want to add (in that case Dropdown
field), and click Create.
Insert the name of the additional field you are about to create.
You can also have additional fields in multiple languages: just fill-in the fields according to
the languages you actually need
If you have created a dropdown field use the edit icon to add
options
Use the menu on the right to: manage additional fields order; edit or delete
them.

Click New Element to add options
Once you have added the options, you can change their order; edit or delete them; by using the menu on
the right.

To assign the additional fields, select Main – Users Management
You can assign an additional field to all the organization chart or just to
selected nodes

To assign an additional field click the node fields icon (user management panel) next
to the node you are interested in.
Choose the fields you want to be displayed for this node.
Each field can be set as: mandatory; valid also for sub-nodes; invisible to the user.
