HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT OMELET How to: Martina Hubbard
THINGS YOU’LL NEED1. 3 whole eggs2. Seasonings i.e.: pepper, salt, Italian seasons3. Tablespoon of Butter4. One slice of American cheese 5. Sauté pan with a spatula to cook the omelet, a pan to cook bacon, and
pan to cook onions and spinach together 6. A half of an onion 7. Hand full Spinach 8. 2 pieces of Bacon
PART ONE: THE FILLING Put one tablespoon of butter in a pan and let it
melt all of way. While the butter is melting, you can begin to
chop your onion into to small pieces, and begin to sauté your onion bits in the butter
In another pan you can being to cook two pieces of bacon ( I love bacon), and after they are cooked carefully chop them into to small pieces to your liking. I like big pieces so I usually make them big.
While the onions are still sautéing, you can being to put one handful of spinach into the same pan.
Cooking Spinach until the leaves are darker in color (not burnt)
Then put all of the ingredients together (to make it easier to scoop out)!
PART TWO: ITS CRACKIN’ TIME! Take all three eggs, and crack them
in a small bowl Scrabble the eggs with a fork
properly until there is no more clear substance from the egg showing.
Add seasonings, like pepper, a tad of salt, and for the extra kick some Italian seasonings.
And then heat up your pan to a medium to high temperature
IMPORTANT TIP : IF YOUR PAN IS NOT NONSTICK, SPRAY IT WIN NON STICK SPRAY
PART THREE: LETS GET COOKING Pour the egg mixture into the hot pan. Make sure heat is definitely on
medium (We don’t want to burn the house down )
Lets the eggs cook for a good 30 seconds to get the bottom layer cooked.
For any excess uncooked egg, pull back the edge on the side of the omelet slightly and lift the pan to replace the empty spot with the uncooked egg liquidly substance (this makes sure that not only the out side is cooked but the inside as well.
PART FOUR: FLIP AND ADD SOME FILLING Flip your egg patty (optional) just
to make sure everything is cooked
Add one piece of sliced cheese ripped up
Take your filling of bacon onion and spinach and put it on one side of your omelet
