Classes
Sometimes homework is not well received:nevertheless , some students may feel it as
an important part of the course.
Homework should not take up too much
time but it should not take up too little either.

C. Group Size
The group size should be used to its advantage;
worksheets may be used to achieve tasks which
would have been used as whole class activities ifthe class were smaller.
Pair and group work should be encouraged toincrease student participation.
Speaking practice may be done using a "chorusreaction," dividing the class in half to practicedialogues, repetition, questions and answers.

Lesson planning gives the teachers the possibilityto logically follow progression, giving the lesson aclear organization.and coherence. Key areas to be included when planning referto the aim, class dynamics, activities to achieve theaim and possible problems. The three necessaryelements of any teaching sequence are engage,study and activate.
Materials, evaluation methods (e.g. feedbacksessions) and relevant homework should also beincluded in the lesson plan.

H. Correction in the language class It is important for teachers to be able to correctstudents without inhibiting them. Tact is vital and asidentified by Harmer (1998), it is the teacher's role to
identify what is adequate for a specific student, within aspecific environment.
In speaking practice (role play, discussion), teachersshould correct in the feedback session, so as not todestroy the conversational flow. Mistakes should be dealt with without identifyingwho made them.
Mistakes could be explained in a feedback time,written on the board, with students first being asked toidentify any problems.
