How to Join Grace Baptist Church At the end of the Worship Service, we will sing a hymn of decision. During this time, you are invited to walk to the front of the Church in response to the leading of the Holy Spirit that you sense in your heart or mind. Our Pastor and a counselor will be at the front to talk with you about your decision. One of the decisions you may wish to make is to become a member of Grace Baptist Church. You may do so by telling the Pastor or Staff Member one of the following: I want to trust Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, but don’t understand how. I need someone to help me. I have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and desire New Testament baptism. I have previously received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. e Church I joined did not practice New Testament baptism, so I want to be baptized and join Grace Baptist Church. I am a member of another Baptist Church and want to join Grace Baptist on a promise letter from that Church. I have previously received Christ and was baptized into a Church by New Testament baptism, however, the record of my Church membership is unavailable, or I have been a member of another denomination and wish to return to a Baptist Church. If none of the above are an expression of your desire, you may schedule an appointment with Pastor Hilley or a Staff Member by calling the Church Office at 706-868-9729. Dear Grace Family and Friends,

I was so blessed last Sunday to be able to reopen our Student Ministry and Adult Education. It’s been almost six months since we had small groups meeting, and that’s too long. In a larger Church like this, people only get loosely connected in the Auditorium. We develop intimate relationship with trusted friends when we can meet them in smaller groups. I’ve said before but it bears repeating; if you’re only going to give God one hour per week, make it the hour you spend in small group Bible Study. That has a far greater likelihood of producing spiritual growth. And that’s what we need to be focused on; leading folks to Christ and helping to equip them in the faith such they live out the victory Jesus died to give us. Thank you for making that a priority. We had a great crowd last Sunday even though it was Labor Day weekend. I’m expecting many more today, and that’s exciting. I realize the threat of COVID 19 has not diminished. As such, many of our most vulnerable members need to stay away from large gatherings of people for their own safety. Yet it puzzles me that many feel comfortable going to work and to school and the grocery store and even to Wal-Mart but they feel it’s too early to return to Church. We’d better understand that Satan’s minions are working hard to “break the habit of Church attendance.” It’s hard to imagine that could happen. But it’s taking place all around us. Have you been victimized? There’s only one cure. Make sure Jesus Christ is Lord of all! When He is, corporate worship will be a priority. I look forward to seeing you all today. God has something great in store. Only trust Him! And the confirmation we do is obedience! God bless you all!
