How to Install Vapor 3-in-1 Blue Underlayment

Tools you may need

• Enough Vapor 3in1 underlayment

• Flooring

• Broom & Dustpan

• Tape

• Scissors / Utility Knife

Step 1: Clean Subfloor

Check subfloor for these signs

• Cracks

• Holes

• Protruding objects

• Unevenness

• moisture

Step 2: Roll out Underlayment

• Roll out first row next to the wall starting in a corner

Tape strip next to the wall

• Install with tape strip next to the wall and overlapping film towards open room

Step 3: Cut Section

Step 4: Roll Out Next Section

Step 5: Butt Underlayment

• Butt underlayment to previous row, connection overlap to tape strip

Don’t Overlap

Step 6: Cut Section

Use additional tape

• Use additional tape if necessary

Acclimate flooring

• 48 hours before installation, cross stack laminate flooring boxes

Step 7: Install Laminate

Step 8: Continue Installation
