How to Guide: Microsoft SQL Server Maintenance Script

Background

The support team has recommended that the following maintenance be performed on the Microsoft Dynamics

AX demo database. Running through these steps will improve database performance and allow forms to load

faster. As more demos are ran on the VM, run these scripts every so often to keep up with database

maintenance.

Step by step:

To run the SQL Script on AX2012R2A

1. Download AXMaintenance.SQL

2. Launch SQL Server Management Studio

3. Log into the Database Engine

4. Click File > Open > File

5. Locate and open AXMaintenance.sql

6. Click Execute
