Perhaps one of the worst pieces of advice is to stay away from stress. Literally, one can’t stay away

from stress because it is everywhere, and it is difficult to just brush it aside. Stress is rather

subjective, thus no two individuals have the same reaction to a stressful event. The healthy focus

instead is how to handle the stress and how it can propose healthy benefits to you.

Physical activity has the ability to reduce stress and prevents the possible effects of stress in the

body. The exercise doesn’t have to be extensive, but a simple one. When you exercise the body

useful form of distraction.

Go out and be with your friends – when you are not isolating yourself, there is a social engagement.

You can learn from the people around you. This is your avenue to explore many other things than

yourself.

Be on top of the situation- this part is here can be a challenged for some because to be on top

means to be in control of the situation. Learning how to say “no” is just part of this situation, and

seek to binge eating and drinking, smoking and a more severe means to handle stress. One thing is

certain with these maladaptive behaviors – it won’t do you any good but rather harm yourself.
