• Most Members Network and Educate Online - 78% use social media for networking with peers and 87.5% of members use social media for industry news.

• Using a Private EHMA Group – 89% of EHMA members were interested in using a private EHMA online group.

• Sponsors Sought Value – Many sponsors wanted an easier way to engage EHMA members based on their interest.

• Based on the EHMA Members survey we know 73% of EHMA member hotels have a Twitter account (2nd behind Facebook)

• 77% of EHMA members have social media accounts and 87% of the members with accounts use it for industry news and 78% for networking with peers.

• Twitter will be the hub of shared information for the EHMA Geneva General Meeting
