Configuring & Composing your

DocFusion 365 template

in SharePoint

Browse to your SharePoint site. Create a SharePoint Document Library to host

your DocFusion Templates (if you have not done this already).

How to get started : Configuring and Composing your DocFusion 365 template in SharePoint.

Navigate to your DocFusion Templates Document Library in SharePoint and

upload or drag-and-drop your DocFusion Template onto this Document Library.


Navigate to the Custom SharePoint List which you have added on the “Data Model”

in your DocFusion Template..


Select the SharePoint “List” Tab and click on the “Configure” button to configure

Docfusion Templates for this List.


Click on “Link Template” to link a DocFusion Template to the selected

Custom List.


Select and Configure a DocFusion Template to be associated with the Custom List.

Save your Configuration when done.

Insert the Display Name

Select the DocFusion Template Documents Library

Specify a Filename for the Composed Document

Select the template to link to the custom list

Select a document library for the Composed Document

Select a document library for DocFusion Logs

Specify a Filename for the Docfusion Log file

Specify Timeout (Preferably 30 seconds)

Select Word or PDF as your output format

Toggle SharePoint controls as required

The new DocFusion Template is now linked to the associated custom list.

Go back to the Custom SharePoint List


Select one or more Items in the Custom List. Select the “Items” tab and

click on the “Compose” button to compose a document.


Select one or more DocFusion Templates you wish to compose and click .

When composition is complete, go back to the SharePoint List.


Navigate to the Output Document Library that was selected in the Config Section.

The final composed document will appear and be ready for viewing or download.
