How to Find a Book
Go to the Library website www.library.nuigalway.ie and Sign In for full access
Type in a combination of author surname(s) and title keywords e.g. cloke introducing human geographies and click on the search button
Let’s say the book you are looking for is:
Cloke, P.J., Crang, P., & Goodwin, M. (2005) Introducing human
geographies. London, Hodder Education.
Find the edition you need from the list of results
Online resource indicates the e-book version
Print Locations indicates the print edition
www.library.nuigalway.ie
Getting the Book Now I’ve found the book I’m looking for, how do I get a copy?
To access an e-book, simply click on the title and you’ll be brought straight to the e-book
If you’re off campus, it’s essential to Sign In if you haven’t already
If you’d prefer to use a printed book, or there’s no e-book available, click on Print Locations to see how many copies the library has and where they are located
The Call Number indicates where in the library the book is shelved
If all copies are currently on loan, click on Hold to request the next copy returned
You must Sign In to place a Hold
