3our computer will restart a few times and changes will 1e made to the partition layout, this process ishands free, so no interaction is re$uired

Install Windows XP

In order to install Windows XP on the partition you created, you will need to 1oot into your @IA= and

set the hard dis% mode to I>4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"fter you ha)e set the hard dis% I>4 mode, you can proceed to install Windows XP on the partitionyou created+

Insert your Windows XP C>, then restart your computer

When prompted to 1oot from the C>, do so This re$uires pressing any %ey on your %ey1oard

Windows XP will go through its setup process

Ance you arri)e at the Welcome =etup, press 4nter on your %ey1oard to 1egin the setup process

Press # on your %ey1oard to accept the license agreement=elect the partition

=elect #ormat the partition using the :T#= file system

Press # on your %ey1oard to 1egin the formatting

Installation files will now 1e copied to your hard dis%

3our system will 1e restarted, Windows XP setup will continue

fter Windows XP installs successfully! you will not "e a"le to "oot into Windows 7. This is where

the recovery disc for Windows 7 comes in.. Put the Windows 7 Beco)ery disc installation disc into the disc dri)e, and then start the computer

Press a %ey when the message indicating Press any %ey to 1oot from C> or >V> D appears

5 =elect a language, a time, a currency, and a %ey1oard or another input method, and then clic% :e;t

6 Clic% Bepair your computer

/ Clic% the operating system that you want to repair, and then clic% :e;t

9 In the =ystem Beco)ery Aptions dialog 1o;, clic% Command Prompt

7 Type sfc (scannow, and then press 4:T4B

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@oot into the @IA= again and set the hard dis% mode to ="T" 3ou will now 1e a1le to 1oot intoWindows 7 again
