Edward Adams teaches law at the University of Minnesota Law School, where holds an endowed chair in law and finance. A sponsor of numerous charitable causes, Edward Adams has also donated hymnals and bibles to Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in honor of the memory of his parents.

Founded in 1920, Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church has brought traditional worship services to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for nearly 100 years. The church has campuses in Victoria and Minneapolis, and its affiliate ministries include Mount Olivet Conference & Retreat Center, Mount Olivet Rolling Acres, Mount Olivet Careview Home, and Cathedral of the Pines Camp in Lutsen.
