H elp O ther P eople E verywhere The Foundation of all Gifts is Surrender back to the Giver Read and consider the importance of Romans Chapter 12: A. 12:1- Note that this is the true lifestyle of Worship and sets the tone of all functions of gifting and ministry into the world. B. 12-2 - Non- conformity to the world doesn’t prevent us from being relatable or understanding the way the world thinks and communicates. Instead it’s a way in which our lifestyle of worship frames the way we pray, think believe speak and act. And the will of God is progressively revealed in our lives. C. 12:3-4 As one Body, we belong to each other and when we withhold our gift we rob the Body of wholeness and functionality. This verse speaks about Unity in Diversity. D. 12:5-13: Exercise implies practical action...and New Testament faith is always active not passive. And now a list of the Motivational gifts are a guide to help us to recognise and value the whole range of gifts that are on offer in the local church and the broader kingdom setting. F. And finally let’s maintain this atmosphere of Love- which for Paul is the whole summary of the Law: “Let love be without hypocrisy. “ And then Paul defines some ways to do just that: “Overcome evil with good.” Conclusion As we employ our gifts in an attitude of a constant lifestyle of worship, we will be progressively overcoming evil with good. And this will Help Other People Everywhere.
