Step 4: Files vs. Directories

A directory is like a "cabinet" where your files are stored. A directory can contain many files.

A file is like a "piece of paper" that could be a page of HTML, or could be an image, or some other item

Example:

Step 5: Index.html The index.html file is the first page

people will see when they type in your URL.

When you type in: www.angelfire.com/film/name the browser looks for www.angelfire.com/film/name/index.html
