How to connect to ESA Wifi Networks (“esa-public”) – Guest-users instructions
1. Manually setup a new Wifi connection on your computer as follows:
- SSID = esa-public
- Authentication Type: Open
2. Once setup on your computer, connect to the new Wifi network.
3. Then, open your browser. You will be automatically redirected to an
authentication page
4. Authenticate on this portal with credentials provided by your ESA Sponsor
Please refer to the next sections for detailed instructions for Windows XP, Windows
7 and MAC OS X.

Guidelines on how to manually setup a new Wi-Fi connection on Windows XP
The following is provided as reference only for Windows XP and the native
Windows Wi-Fi client.
1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Network connections
2. Right-click on “Wireless Network Connection” icon and then “View
available wireless networks”
3. A new Window open. On the left column, choose “Setup a Wireless network
for a home or small office”
4. Follow the Wizard. Once prompted for SSID name, enter “esa-public”
Within the options for network keys, choose “automatically assign a network
key (Recommended option)”.
5. Go to next, then select “Manually setup the network”
6. You have completed the setup. The new Wi-Fi network shall now appear on
the list of Wi-Fi available networks
7. Then open your browser. You will be automatically redirected to the following
authentication page.

The following is provided as reference only for Windows 7 and the native Windows
Wi-Fi client.
1. Go to Start Control Panel Network and Internet Network and
Sharing Center. On the left column, choose “Manage wireless networks”.
2. Click on “Add”.
3. Select “Manually create a network profile”
4. Fill in the parameters as shown below, then click on “Next”.
5. Click on “Close”.
6. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the Windows tray area.
7. Select the “esa-public” profile and click “Connect”.
8. Then open your browser. You will be automatically redirected to the
following authentication page.

1. From your Apple menu bar, turn your Airport connection ON
2. Then select Join Other Network
3. The following mask will open. Configure your network connection as follow.
Ensure the flag “Remember this network” is checked
4. Then open your browser. You will be automatically redirected to the following
authentication page.
