How to Clear Your Internet Explorer Cache

Follow these procedures to clear the cache stored in your Internet Explorer web browser. Created August 2011.

Select Tools

1. Open Internet Explorer2. Left click Tools3. Left click Internet options

1. Left click on the General Tab2. Left click the Settings button

Verify Temp files and History Settings

1. Left click check for new page "Everytime I visit the webpage"

2. Set the length to store web visits as you wish

Begin Cache Deletetion

1. Left click "Delete browsing history on exit"2. Left click the Delete button

Choose and Delete

1. Left click and uncheck "Preserve Favorites website data"

2. Left click to check or uncheck cache data to delete. You should check EVERYTHING.

3. Left click the Delete button to empty your cached files.
