• USE A BEGINNER’S MIND.

• What’s better for beginners:

1. Asking questions.

2. The more we know, the more we don’t realize what we don’t know.

3. Don’t suppose that you know what you don’t know.

• How often do you sit wondering to ask for help?

• Being happy and healthy is as important as getting good grades.

• You might think that you are a good multitasker, but actually you are a good task switcher.

• Problems with multitasking:

1. People who do the most task-switching are the worst at it.

2. Productivity goes down significantly. “about 40% DROP”

3. Takes longer to complete things.

4. Accuracy and competence on each task suffers.

5. Your body produces more stress hormones.

6. Your relationships may suffers, it’s annoying.

• Why so we do it?

1. We don’t know that it’s harmful.

2. We think that we are exceptional.

3. We live at a crazy word which puts us under stress!

• We postpone whole our tasks to the weekend, and at that time, we discover that we have more important thing to do!

• Prepare your task sheets and then a table.

• You can also use the sticky notes.

• Organize your papers, books, and stories.

• Organize your spaces in a way which suitable for you.

• Save your awesome achievements.

• Keep your sleeping hours between 8-6 hours.

• Some tips to reduce multitasking:

1. Quit trying to text your friends, write notes, or work on other works during the course.

2. Don’t drive while on the phone.

3. Watching TV, using social media, or doing anything else is going to distract you from your work.

4. Try to do anything daily with 20-30 minutes without interruptions.

5. Your friends still yours after closing all your channels during memorizing.

6. You need to be fully present at:

Homework. Driving. People in your life.

• TREE IS A LIFESTYLE.

• Encoding and retrieving information.

1. Prepare for class:

1. Get your materials together.

2. Get your brain together.

3. Get your curiosity going.

4. Tell you what good questions to be asked tomorrow.

2. Participating in class:

– Don’t miss a class.

– Set where you won’t be distracted.

– MAKE SURE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT BEFORE LEAVING THE CLASSROOM, AND IF DON’T ASK QUESTIONS!

– Neurons and neural pathways are like highways.

– Before you leave the classroom:

1. Speak: with new words you learnt.

2. Apply: what you learnt.

3. Say or write: what you listen.

4. Give a feedback: META-COGNITION.

• 3. Taking notes in class: – Why we take notes?

– How can I take notes? 1. Choose what to write perfectly.

2. Write big ideas not all details.

3. Don’t write the headlines.

4. Write rarely from the slides.

5. Find the system of taking notes that’s suitable for you.

6. Keep it simple.

7. Keep your head up and keep tracking the teacher.

8. Keep it short.

9. Put it where it belongs.

• A BATH ONCE ESTABLISHED IS HARD TO REROUTE.

• You must have at least one textbook. And if you are a beginner it shouldn’t be more than one.

• Your entire book is an extremely wonderful example about summarizing.

• Use the notes taken into the class to help you.

• Note that writers want to create content.

• Don’t highlight anything which can be extracted from a figure. But you MUST read all of its explanatory text.

• Read the textbook at the same day of the lecture.

• The more you are later to read the textbook, the more you forget. Information is volatile.

• You can’t get more from the other’s summary.
