• The music industry has changed in a major way due to the Internet, especially the rap or hip hop industry.
• The value of a song has dropped significantly.
• In the past rappers did not have to release much music each year at all.

• Now you must go to godaddy.com and get the exact domain name for your artist name too.
• Make that domain name transfer to your free blog so when you post the link you can post a professional link without the blogger.com name in the link too.

• Take some time and create a professional website and upload videos and music on there too.
• If you need a tutorial on how to edit your blog just Google or Youtube it and you’ll find some info.
• You can now use this website to sell stuff (music, memorabilia), capture leads, etc.
Lesson 4 Forums
• Be active on hip hop forums. Contribute to the discussion and in the signature of your posts put a link to your website and your social media links.
• The more posts you put the more traffic you get to your site.
• This is an important step.
