Please get queue number at security guard house,
ready and wait for submitting application form at
counter 3 and 4, after that take a sit and wait
counter 2 call for the payment. Due to the very high
number of applications, the Royal Thai Embassy is able
to accept and process only 130 applications per day.
In most cases, the visas can be collected on the
next working day from 14.30 hrs. to 16.30 hrs.
During collection, applicants have to get a queue
number at security guard house and wait counter
4 call for collection of passport.
(Visa process cannot be done in the same day)
If visa not approve the fee will
not be refund.

Visa Fee
Tourist Visa (TR) Single Entry
Fee: 150 RM Validity of visa sticker: 3 months. Applicants are required to apply the visa within 3 months
from the date of visit.
Duration of stay: maximum 2 months, applicants are eligible to apply for extension at the Thai Immigration.
Tourist Visa (METV) Multiple Entries 6 Months
Fee: 750 RM Validity of visa sticker: 6 months.
Duration of stay: maximum 2 months per entry.
Transit Visa (TS, S) Single Entry
Fee: 120 RM Validity of visa sticker: 3 months. Applicants are required to apply the visa within 3 months
from the date of visit.
Duration of stay: maximum 1 month.
Non-Immigrant Visa (B, ED, O, F, R-A, M, RE, R) Single Entry
Fee: 300 RM Validity of visa sticker: 3 months. Applicants are required to apply the visa within 3 months
from the date of visit.
Duration of stay: maximum 3 months. Aliens are required to process at the Thai Immigration Bureau for extension of long stay (multiple entries). For

Please note: the Royal Thai Embassy will not issue running visa for Non Immigrant.
Non-Immigrant Visa for (Non B) Business (Multiple Entries 1 year)
(For those who reside in Malaysia only)
Fee: 750RM Validity of visa sticker: 12 months.
Duration of stay: 3 months per entry. This type of visa is eligible for the applicants who have to travel frequently for business between company in
Malaysia and Thailand. For the approval of requesting multiple entries will take for 2 working days. However, if
not approve for multiple entries, the Embassy will issue for a single entry for 300RM and will return for the
remaining balance to the applicants during collection.
Please Note:
Fee is exempted for nationals of Malaysia, Singapore, Republic of Korea and Tunisia.
Upon arrival, those entering Thailand under the Tourist Visa Exemption scheme must show the documents below
at the port of entry:
• Proof of adequate finances for the duration of stay in Thailand i.e. traveler’s cheque or cash equivalent to
10,000 Baht per person and 20,000 Baht per family.
• Proof of onward travel (confirmed air, train, bus or boat tickets)
Question and Answer about visa Q: 1. If I want to apply the visa, what should I do?
A: First of all, applicants have to visit at our website to download visa application form, checklist, and fill in the
application form. Please check the requirements under category of visa that you are requesting to apply and
complete with all requirements. For submission of application form, applicants have to come to the Royal Thai
Embassy, Consular Section from 9.30-11.30am in every working day and collection will be next working day at
2.30-4.30pm only.
Q: 2. Can I collect in the same day?
A: The visa process will take for 2 working days, and cannot be done in the same day. Make sure apply the visa
early.
Q: 3. Can I give someone to submit on behalf?
A: cannot, applicants have to submit in person, except children below 17 years old or age above 60 years old
which allow to give family members or relatives to submit on behalf.
Q: 4. My nationality is under listed country. It is possible for me to apply the visa in Malaysia?
A: Yes, you can apply if you are residing in Malaysia as employee, student, or other long term visa such as
MM2H, Dependent and Investment.
Q: 5. My nationality is under listed country and I am housewife, and in the checklist, I have to submit bank
statement, can I submit my husband’s bank statement?
A: Yes, you can submit your husband’ bank statement and attached with proof of relationship such as
marriage certificate.
Q: 6. We are planning to travel in group of family, it is compulsory for everyone to submit all documents?
A: Yes, applicant have to provide all documents such as flight ticket, hotel booking, and proof of relationship
such as marriage certificate or birth certificate, and bank statement only sponsor have to provide it and wife
and children no need to provide it.( must submit in separate)
Q: 7. If I did not complete with the requirements, can I apply for the visa?
A: cannot, applicant must complete with all requirements, after that can apply for the visa.
Immigration and Customs Information
Thailand to reinforce re-entry ban on overstay foreign visitors
Bangkok, 15 February, 2016 – From 20 March, this year, Thailand will impose a strict re-entry ban
on foreign visitors who overstayed in the kingdom, according the Order of Minister of Interior,
No. 1/2558, Subject ‘Classes of Aliens Ineligible for Admission to the Kingdom of Thailand.’
The Order cited that a number of aliens, or foreign visitors, who have temporary permission to
stay in Thailand have overstayed beyond their permitted date, thus placing the safety of
people and national’s security at risk.
Therefore, a re-entry ban will be imposed on foreign visitors who violate the Immigration Act:
B.E.2522 by overstaying in Thailand.
Overstaying more than 90 days to one year, the re-entry ban is one year.
Overstaying between 1 – 3 years, the re-entry ban is three years.
Overstaying between 3 – 5 years, the re-entry ban is five years.
Overstaying more than five years, the re-entry ban is 10 years.
Foreign visitors who are apprehended by the authorities for overstaying less than one year will
be barred from re-entering Thailand for five years. For those overstaying more than one year,
the re-entry ban is 10 years.
The rules of overstay does not apply to foreign visitors who depart Thailand before the age of
18, and those who leave the kingdom before this Order comes into effective on 20 March,
2016.
