(aa) A letter to the effect that the parent has been killed/wounded / reported missingin action issued by MP Dte/Respective Regimental Records and a copy of PartII Order notifying injuries and being classified as battle casualties in case ofserving/medically boarded out pers.(ab) Relationship Certificate issued by Records / MP Dte.(ac) The vacancies under wards of battle casualties are available to wards (sonsand daughters including legally adopted) of battle casualties specified as Killed inaction/Died of wound or injuries (Other than self-inflicted)/Wounded or Injured (Otherthan self-inflicted)/Missing.

(c) Last Date of Receipt of Application in Recruiting Directorate for Wards of battle casualtiesis 22 Aug 2016.

5. HOW TO APPLY:(a) For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders Only. Applications will ONLY be accepted ONLINEon website “www.joinindianarmy.nic.in”. Click on” Officers Entry Apply/Login” andthen click ‘Registration’. Fill the online registration form after reading the Instructionscarefully. After getting registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ . A page ‘Officers Selection –Eligibility’ will open. Then click ‘Apply ’shown against NCC special entry scheme. A page‘’Application Form’’ will open. Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’ to filldetails as required under various segments, Personal informations, Communication details,Education details and details of previous SSB. ‘’Save & Continue’ each time before you goto the next segment. After filling details on the last segment, you will move to a page‘Summary of your information’ wherein you can check and edit the entries alreadymade. Click on ‘’Submit now’’ only after carefully ascertaining that the correct details havebeen filled in. After submitting, click on ‘’PDF’’ and take two copies of the application formhaving Roll No and other details generated by the system.Note :- Details once submitted will NOT be changed under any circumstance,and NO representation in this regard shall be entertained.(b) One copy of the print out of application form duly signed, photograph affixed andself attested alongwith all documents as mentioned in Detailed Notification available onour website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in should be forwarded to the OC, NCC Unit fromwhere NCC ‘C’ Certificate has been issued. The second copy of the printout of onlineapplication is to be retained by the candidate for his reference and carried to the SSB.(c) Applications of Candidates serving in the Armed Forces, duly counter-signed by CommandingOfficer should be sent to the OC, NCC Unit from where NCC’ ‘C’ certificate has been issued.NOTE:1. Candidates must note that all those appeared/appearing for SSB interviewfor SSC (NT)-105 (Apr 2017) & SSC (NT) (Women)-19 Course (Apr 2017) as CDSEcandidate will NOT be eligible to appear for NCC Spl Entry-41 Course SSB. Adeclaration to the effect needs to be filled and submitted alongwith theapplication form by the candidate, as per format available online alongwithapplication form.2. 1. Applications are invited from married/unmarried MALE and unmarried FEMALE candidatesand also from Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel, for grant of Short ServiceCommission in the Indian Army under NCC Special Entry Scheme 41st Course – Apr 2017.2. Vacancies.

(a) NCC Men – 50 (45 for Gen Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of ArmyPersonnel only).(b) NCC Women – 05 (04 for women general category and 01 for wards of battlecasualties of Army personnel only).

3. Eligibility.(a) Nationality: For details, go through the detailed notification for NCC Special EntryScheme 41st Course (apr 2017) on our official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in(b) Candidates withdrawn on disciplinary ground from NDA, IMA,OTA or anyother Service Training Academy are NOT eligible to apply.(c) Age Limit. For NCC candidates (including Wards of Battle Casualties)19 to 25years as on 01 Jan 2017 (born not earlier than 02 Jan 92 and not later than 01 Jan98, both dates inclusive).

4. Educational Qualification and Other Criteria.(a) For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders.

(i) Educational Qualification.(aa) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum50% marks taking into account marks of all the years/semesters.(ab) Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they havesecured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years. Such studentswill need to secure overall aggregate of minimum 50% marks if selected in interviewfailing which their candidature will be cancelled. The candidates studying in thefinal year of graduation should complete their examinations related to the degree,like, written, practicals, viva-voce, projects backlogs etc prior to 01 Apr 2017.They should be able to produce the degree within 12 weeks from the date ofcommencement of training at OTA, Chennai. Such candidates will be inducted fortraining at OTA, Chennai on additional bond basis for recovery of the cost oftraining as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay and allowancespaid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.(ac) Candidate should attach self attested photocopies of educational documentsas mentioned in Detailed Notification available on our websitewww.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

(ii) Service in NCC. Should have served for minimum two academic years in thesenior Division/Wing of NCC.(iii) Grading. Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

(b) For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel Only.(i) Educational Qualification. Degree of a recognized University or equivalent withaggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years/semesters.(ii) NCC ‘C’ Certificate not required.(iii) Apply manually as per format of Application Form available on Official website ofRtg Dte www.joinindianarmy.nic.in(Downloads).
