How to configure your Smartphone:  

Galaxy Note 3 Depending on the exact model, screens may differ a little 

 

Under Applications press «Settings»

Under connections, Activate Wi‐Fi  

Validate and press Wi‐Fi  

Press « Scan » if the desired network is not listed 

Select the network (HQ‐AIR‐PUB in this 

case) 

Press « Connect » 

 

Open the browser 

Enter Login/Password 

 

 

 Configure UNESCO Wi‐Fi 

Please refer to the operating manual of the device to insert your SIM card and battery 

  Configure your UNESCO Email account,  

to access your emails, contacts, calendar and notes

Go to settings

Accounts, Add account 

Choose Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync 

Manual setup … 

Fill in the fields : 

o Email address (x.yyyyyyy@unesco.org) 

o Domain\user name : hq\x_yyyyyyyy (be aware to 

underscore) 

o Password : ******** 

o Exchange Server: mail.unesco.org 

o Tick « Use secure connection » 

o Next, OK, check …, Activate 

o Complete other account options 

 

To finish, enter a password (of your choice) for unlocking 

the device 

Wait a few minutes for the account synchronization
