Abstract: While there has been someattention paid by immigrationresearchers to the record numbers ofimmigrants residing in the Unitedimmigrants residing in the UnitedStates, little attention has been paidto quantifying the adverse economicimpacts to American citizens.
A preliminary model is offered in thisarticle that is consistent withobserved economic trends. Theeconomic losses of approximately $10economic losses of approximately $10trillion dollars to Americanknowledge workers are a consequenceof workforce gluts
