MONEY that will come from FUNDRAISING.

Crowdfunding is a GREAT resource for raising money for not only start

up businesses and non-profits…but, an excellent way

for PTOs and PTAs across the nation to raise money for

their schools.

Starting your campaign is EASY!

Name Your Campaign—Be clever, be cute, and to

the point. Also, tell us who the funds will benefit

and how.

What’s your goal? How much money do you want to raise? What are you going to

do with it?

You can have MULTIPLE campaigns with MoveYourMountain.org and you can also have ongoing campaigns where donors

can donate a certain amount money monthly. (ie. They can sign up to give

$10 a month)

Tell Your Story.

Share WHY people should donate to your PTA/PTA and what your group plans to do with the money.

Add Pictures and Video.

If you’re raising money for new playground equipment, show us the old equipment.

If you’re raising money for new computers, show us videos of how slow the current ones are.

Pictures are worth a thousand words…Use Them!

Plan

• Put the campaign on your school’s website• If your school has Twitter or Facebook, post it.•Create fliers/handouts to give students explaining the campaign to parents. Also, ask parents to share on their social media channels.

Update your campaign as often as you can.

Use it like a blog or journal.

Donors will be emailed every time you update AND it’s a fact that campaigns that update at least three times receive 239% more funds.

(and…it’s just nice to keep your donors updated on what’s going on with the school)
