• Jazz Team Server (JTS) is a scalable Java application, extensible, team-collaboration platform that integrates tasks across the software lifecycle.

• JTS platform also provides useful building blocks and frameworks that facilitate the development of new products and tools.

• RTC is a web based application (also client available) that provides to the teams, all the tools in order to cover all areas of CCM (Change Control Management) and SCM (Source Control Management).

• CLM = RTC + RDNG + RQM

• The project area (PA) is an area in the repository where information about one or more software projects is stored. The project area defines the project deliverables, team structure, process, and schedule.

• RTC can apply for different projects (PA), different methodologis such as, waterfall, RUP, Agile, Scrum, AdHoc, SaFe, DaD.

• You can use work items (WI) to manage the tasks and issues that your team must address during the development cycle.
