How have I attracted the target audience of my

magazine?

• In My opinion, the first thing I needed to do was think about what artists my target audience wish to see in the magazine. As the genre of the magazine is indie, I need to include artists and bands who the target audience are interested in.

• I have also used a consistent colour theme throughout the production of my magazine, sticking to the same font as well helps make the magazine look over all more professional.

• As well as this, a personal, informal language helps to attract the target audience as this is what they are used to.

• Distribution is a key ingredient to attracting the target audience as well. By distributing to chains of super markets and newsagents, it can increase sales as the buyers are not going out of their way to buy the magazine
