How do you pray?
I give thanks for my
my ability to walk and speak,
for everyday.
spirit soul,
being alive- Leonell McCann
Prayer is my breath breathing in and outawake or asleep, prayer is whatever I am doing in the present moment because Creator is within every cell in my physiology and between every cell, Creator has always been and will always be part of my soul.- Mary At Mum

Mothers Prayer
As I awaken each morning I am surprised and happy because I am still here, after 88 years. I talk to God or sometimes to Mother Nature, or to Creator of All Things.
It’s all the same to me, but mostly to God because way back then it was only God. I give thanks for another day on this beautiful mysterious planet.
Throughout the day I give thanks for many things as they happen. My day is filled with prayers. Before I go to sleep at night I give thanks for the past day.
I ask for these people-killing wars to end and for the military to return home to loved ones and pray they can live a good healthy life regardless of the horrible memories of war. And please God may we not have future wars.
I pray for our politicians, may they be more worthy of the title and position they hold.
I pray for my grandson, my children and my husband, that they have good health, compassion and love for each other and all mankind.

Mothers Prayer
Earth, water, fire, air, and space
combine to make this food.
Numberless beings
gave their lives and labors
that we may eat.
May we be nourished,
that we may nourish life.

Silence.
That is my prayer.
Moments, fleeting mirth,
A quiet mind and yet it moves.
The sound of snowflakes
Hitting the trees like a gentle drum,
But only when it has been dampened by
the enveloping clouds.
The breaking of waves on a barren shore,
The force of the sea,
It is this that inspires me.
God? Universe?
Perhaps just a kinship with the Earth,
Maybe worship and thanks
As I breathe
And I AM.
-MKL-
i pray the rosary frequently and sometimes meditate on
one person for each bead, asking for the best for them.
i try to be in the presence of the holy spirit while doing
this consciencely remembering an aspect of the life of christ
reprsented in each decade, i pray for a realization
of God's gifts and for a heart filled with true gratitude.
And i am more grateful with each passing day.

At their first meeting in October 2004,
the Grandmothers, shamans and medicine women, bonded
deeply and discovered that despite their different
languages and cultures, they all shared a common goal.
This led to the formation of
The International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers.
From then on, the Grandmothers decided to carry out their mission globally through visits to each of
their home communities.
Recalling the places where the Earth is unstable, in danger, out of balance in any way and the need for healing is very great, we send our love and caring to relieve the suffering of the Earth…Resting in the awareness of the vast inter-connected web of life, we form the intention that this Earth Treasure Vase, filled with sacred offerings from our heart of hearts, once buried in the Earth, will radiate healing and protective energies out in every direction for all time...that the healing be accomplished; the vitality of the Earth, restored.Cynthia JursEarth Treasure Vase Global Healing Project
