How do you enjoy your surroundings?Norway offers much to do out-of-doors, during every season. For example…

In spring, thrift shop or sell from our annual citywide rummage sales.

You got a fast car? Join or just watch our weekly summer races.

Rather walk? We recommend visiting popular Piers Gorge.

Trails abound here. Hike, or ride bike, horse, ATV, BMX, four-wheeler, or other ORV/utility vehicle.

If wetter is better, go tubing, rafting, canoeing, or kayaking.

We host the Dickinson County Fair every year.

For smaller gatherings, there’s ‘Music in the Park’ weekly at our band shell on Main Street.

Fish in summer or winter, with plenty of locals’ stories to inspire.

Outsmart the cold: Sled, skate, ski, snowmobile, and play pond hockey.

We are also very nearby an annual international ski jumping site.

How does your town’s water taste?Norway’s won an award in a 2006 Regional Water Taste-Off.Well-known for its purity and superior taste, our water is a delightful complement to Norway’s natural beauty.

The landscape we see as the seasons change is often, simply put, breathtaking. Fall is an especially gorgeous time here.

It’s the simple pleasures that make Norway a great setting in which to raise healthy families, engage in a cohesive community, and celebrate our exceptional space.

Our MissionOur mission is to provide essential services to the residents of our community, ensuring continuation of our quality of life.

The City of Norway administers to its residents the following services.

Water Sewer Electric Telephone Television Internet

This means that the City meets very nearly every need its citizens have.

We also generate our own power, by way of the Sturgeon Falls Hydro Dam. At its peak, “the Hydro” produces more power than is used by Greater Norway.

We utilize our natural resources and our natural talents for the good of our place and the people it belongs to. Welcome.
