How do we make the lunchroom a pleasant place to

enjoy our lunch?

Lunchroom Expectations

• Listen to the adults• Find a seat and stay in your spot• Stay seated until you are dismissed• Raise your hand if you need something• Use good manners – napkins, say “please”

“thank you” and “excuse me”• When the adult needs your attention, stop all

talking and listen

• Check your area…under the table and on the table, pick up any trash and put it in the trash can

• Talk quietly only to those people sitting next to and across from you

• Walk in the lunchroom• Sit with bottoms on the seats and face the

people across from you

• Never throw anything in the lunchroom• Balls should be carried, never bounced in the

halls

• What else should we remember so that we can enjoy our lunch?
