Team short story analysis
How do we arrange the slides?
• Each team member’s name
• The two assigned literary devices
• The class period and date
The opening slide
First Slide/Scene
• The first assigned literary device
• Include a complete definition
• Literary device #1 in each story
• Only ONE story per slide
• Include title of the story, textual evidence and page numbers
Slides 3-6
Seventh Slide/Scene
• The second assigned literary device
• Include a complete definition
• Literary device #2 in each story
• Only ONE story per slide
• Include title of the story, textual evidence and page numbers
Slides 8-11
• Focuses on one story only
• Includes textual support for each element
• May include graphics for emphasis or clarification including your plot diagram, picture of setting ,etc.

NOTE #1: Limit the amount of text on your slides. It is better to have more slides with less text than too much text on one slide. This is just a basic guide. Use as many slides as necessary. Use at least size 22 font. Avoid dark backgrounds with light fonts.
NOTE #2: your presentation should not be a mechanical reading of material on your slides OR a retelling of the plot of the stories that you read. Rather, your slides should support your lecture. You may bring in note cards to work from as your present.
There are dozens of sites and tools available. The best options allow everyone to collaborate and communicate asynchronously.

• You will turn in your
1. Literary device evaluation papers including the storyboard
2. Hard copy of slides OR share/email link (make sure I have access!!!)
3. Infographic poster (separate from the presentation itself)
4. Team documents with a written reflection to include:
- who contributed what to the project
- how successful the group was in collaborating
- and what you would change or do differently in the future
