Will all of the liquids evaporate?
HYPOTHESIS

WE THINK THE OIL WILL HEAT UP THE MOST.
WE THINK THAT ALL THE LIQUIDS WILL EVAPORATE A LITTLE BIT BUT THE OIL WILL EVAPORATE THE MOST!
MATERIALS

4 CUPS OF THE SAME SIZE
WATER OILLIQUID SOAP SODA COOKING THERMOMETER
1 MEASURING CUP
PROCEDURE

1.Gather all of the materials.2.Measure out 1 cup of liquid into a clean glass.3. Place the jar in the microwave on the highest power setting for 30 seconds.4.Measure the temperature and liquid level.5. Repeat steps #2 – 4 with the other liquids.6.Compare the results.

RESULTS AND CONCLUCION

The oil and soda got the hottest and the soap got the least hot.
The liquids did not evaporate much .The oil and the soup evaporated 1/16 inch. It did not evaporate more because it was placed in a small place and it was only in the microwave for 30 seconds.
