How can meditation help our “World in Transition”? This was the theme of presentations by brother Golo from Madhuban during the environment service tour of the Nordic Countries. Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark had arranged all in all 15 programs in Helsinki, Turku, Stockholm, Vimmerby, Oslo, Aarhus, Samsø and Copenhagen. Golo shared about the present environmental state of the world, what Brahma Kumaris is doing in the area of renewable energy and finally how our thoughts and awareness are connected to the world. The message that meditation is essential for creating a new world in harmony was received very well. The Green Angel Midsummer Retreat took place on Iniø island in the Finnish archipelago. The Nordic countries have traditionally a close relationship to nature. The BK family in Scandinavia met in Norway for their annual retreat, this time with sister Denise and brother Golo. The venue was located in a beautiful mountain area above the tree level with a stunning view to snowcapped peaks. The silence spoke loudly!
By having powerful meditations and churnings together, everybody could experience the connection to the new world, the golden age.
