How am I creative?

Mindmaps• Find them helpful when planning out what you

want to do for a project.• You can always develop your ideas and more as

you go along.• Tried to do it on a computer but I prefer to

actually physically write stuff out.

Lists

• Quick way to write down any ideas that I may have at the time.• Like to make lists of props, costumes, camera angles, etc.• Physically write it out helps me remember it better and then I have them to refer

back to.

Storyboards and drafts Storyboarding my music video helped me think more about what I wanted

to happen in each scene.

First drafts of my magazine articles gave me an idea of what features I wanted and where I wanted them.

Analysing conventions The conventions of the texts were helpful to give me an idea of what should

be in my final products.

They also made me think about whether I should be conventional or try something different.

Resourceful to look back at when I was unsure about what I should put into my final product.

Interpreting lyrics Probably the most useful thing for me to do.

Copied the lyrics of the song from a lyric website. Then I pasted them onto Microsoft Word and wrote around what I thought could happen in each scene of the song.

I then posted this onto my blog using Slide Share.

Small ideas lead to bigger ones Occasionally through the production of the project I’ll have a small idea that

I may or may not use in final product, but I try them out anyway.

For example;

~ “The Wall of Stuff”

Another example was the tunnel photo shoot for my music magazine.

Video Tutorials Videos that demonstrate and instruct you about how to something.

Used these to help with any technical issues I had while crating my projects.

Helped me to use iMovie and Photoshop at more than just a basic level.

Thank you for listening!
