(Christmas Show Only) Class 700. Prize Money: $2,000 Plus $100 per horse added back Entry Fee: $220 All horses must have been officially enrolled in the Pre-Green Incentive Program prior to class. Annual Enrollment Fee: Nov 15-Feb 1 of each year - $350 Feb 2 – June 1 of each year - $550 June 2 – Nov 14 of each year - $750 See USHJA rules for further information. (enrollment begins Nov 15 thru USHJA) Fences 3’ or 3’3” Judged on quality, movement, jumping style, manners and way of going using the open numerical scoring system. Not required to jog. Horses must have entered and shown in at least 2 other Pre Green Hunter classes at this show. Only enrolled horses that have competed in a minimum of two USHJA Pre-Green Stake classes between Dec 1 and July 31 of the competition year in which the Championship is held are eligible to compete in the Championship. The Championship class will be held in conjunction with the USHJA International Hunter Derby Finals. A minimum of $25,000 will be offered, and the add-back money from entry fees and 65% of all enrollment fees shall be added to the $25,000 minimum prize money to achieve the total prize money offered. The Thanksgiving and Christmas Shows are operated in accordance with the current THJA rules and are rated “A” in High Perf & Perf Working, Green Working, A/O, Junior, Pony, Green Pony, Children’s Pony, Children’s & Adult Hunters & Pre Green Hunter. “A” in Children’s & Adult Jumper. Christmas Show – Pony Jumpers. Points for placing in Jr, Pony, Children’s & Adult Equitation will be credited in accordance with THJA rules.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

These shows are regular members of the United States Equestrian Federation. Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the USEF rule book will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith and in compliance with THJA rules. ENTRIES: Every Entry Blank must have the signature of the owner/authorized agent, or trainer & be accompanied by a Stall or Open Check. NO NUMBERS WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT AN OPEN CHECK. THERE WILL BE A $35 LATE FEE FOR ENTRIES POST MARKED AFTER NOV 16th. COGGINS MUST BE INDICATED ON ENTRY BLANK OR PRESENTED AT SHOW. Horses entered in one section requiring a combined entry fee may enter individual classes of a second section requiring a combined entry fee at 30% of the prize money in those classes. There will be an office fee of $55.00 for every horse on the show grounds that will cover ring schooling, scratches, adds and security. It is the responsibility of the person making the entry to execute properly and complete all necessary information pertaining to each entry made in accordance with the rules of the USEF. There will be a $100.00 fee for any non-showing horse. STALLS: STALL FEE = $200.00. Stalls are permanent 10 x 10 box stalls with doors. Feed, hay and bedding available on show grounds. Manure to be disposed of in designated areas. NO MANURE IN TRASH CONTAINERS. No stall doors or panels may be removed. A $50 grounds fee charged for all horses not purchasing a stall. NO OUTSIDE SHAVINGS ALLOWED. REFUNDS: Prior to close of entries, entry fees shall be refunded upon presentation of a written statement. After that date any refunds will require a signed veterinary statement stating that the horse is unable to perform or a doctor’s statement regarding rider’s illness. In either case there will be $35.00 processing fee. RETURNED CHECKS: $50.00 will be charged for all returned checks. Accounts will be given 5 days to pay with certified funds or be reported to USEF according to (GR 913). CREDENTIALS: ALL EXHIBITORS IN THE PONY, JUNIOR HUNTER AND ANY AMATEUR SECTION MUST PRESENT THEIR MEASUREMENT CARD AND/OR AMATEUR CERTIFICATIONS at the show office before numbers can be released. Send Photostats of cards with entry. All ponies or horses not having current measurement cards will be measured at an announced time and place. Anyone not presenting a current USEF/THJA membership card (or copy) will be charged a Non-Member fee. DRUGS AND MEDICATIONS: Current USEF rules relating to drugs and medications will be enforced. Each horse entered must pay $8.00 Equine Drug/Medication Fee plus an $8.00 USEF fee. SCHOOLING: Times will be posted & announced. HARD HATS MUST BE WORN WHILE MOUNTED. CAMPERS: Camper spaces are available for $35.00 per night. Please reserve on entry blank!! DOGS: Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Ch, 6 & 7, as well as issuance of warning cards. Loose dogs may be impounded by Animal Control. $200 FINE WILL BE IMPOSED. CHANGES: Management reserves the right to change, cancel or combine classes, alter courses and do all things necessary to compensate for excessive or inadequate entries. ATTIRE: It is compulsory for riders in all Hunter, Jumper and Hunt Seat Equitation classes, both open and restricted including Hunter Hack, where jumping is required and when mounted anywhere on the show grounds to wear properly fastened protective headgear which meets or exceeds ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials)/SEI(Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. It must be properly fitted with harness secured. Any rider violating this rule at any time must immediately be prohibited from further riding until such headgear is proper in place. See GR801.2. USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT

Life, senior active, and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining, and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions, and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $30 nonmember registration fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the requirements of this rule; 1)leadline; 2)exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4)classes for 4-H members; 5)walk/trot and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6)USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA endorsed Reining Competitions; 8) Opportunity classes 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation; 10)USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.
