1.0 INTRODUCTION :
There are fve basic needs in the human lie. Housing is one o those and
it is very essential or every people. Real Estate Industries are working to
provide residence or those people who would like to buy apartment to
leave in a luxurious and peaceul condition. esides! this industry also has
created a large number o "obs in the "ob market. Thousands o backward
linkage industries such as# rick! $and! %eramic! $anitary wears industry
etc. have set up on the base o real estate industries. $o! it is playing a
great role in our national economy as it has a huge impact on the
country&s revenue collection. There is about fve hundred real estate
%ompanies in our country. 'll the companies are not well recogni(ed by
the people. )any o the companies do not ulfll their commitment.
*nortunately many o the people have lost their aith on ew developers.
To satisy those people Tropical Homes +td. has taken the challenge and
trying to do the best. Tropical Homes +td. is one o the ast growing Real
estate %ompany. It is very new in the Real Estate market but I ound the
peoples behind it are very experienced and proessional. In this internship
report I tried to go through a total look at the overall Real Estate business
in angladesh and then I started work at Tropical Homes +td. to make the
report better inormative and meaningul. $o that the readers will able to
get a simple idea about the sector&s history! nature and style o business!
services etc including a live example o a well known company that is

7hen I developed this report! then I had to ace some problems! whichdisrupted the ulfllment o this report. There were several constrains
while preparing this report. -nly twelve weeks were not su3cient to visit
all the desks o the division. $ome desks were remained unvisited
moreover some o3cers in desk were ound non8cooperative. In course o
my internship I aced a number o problems! which may be termed as the
limitations o the study. These are as ollows#
i0 I could not spend su3cient time re1uired to make an in8depth study
on such an important sub"ect because o o3ce time constraint.
ii0 $ometimes it was very di3cult to get su3cient help rom the
employees o Tropical Homes +td. due to their limited executive
hours.
iii0 There is no su3cient inormative 7eb site o Tropical Homes +td.
iv0 They did not give us exact inormation or maintaining their secrecy.
v0 It was very di3cult to get the actual inormation. In many cases! the
1uestionnaire had to be explained elaborately to the respondents.
vi0 $u3cient records! publications were not available. The constraints
narrowed the scope o real analysis.
vii0 $u3cient inormation was not attainable because o3cers were very
busy with their day8to8day work9 they could hardly provide enough
time.
viii0 +ast but not least lack o time has also limited the scope or the
research work.

becoming city dwellers. angladesh is not any exception to that picture.
The ever8increasing urban population is catering an increasing demand or

angladesh. ut it is very di3cult on the part o the government o
angladesh alone to ensure housing or all. Here comes the need o
private sector real estate development.
It is a recogni(ed act that the health o the Real Estate evelopment
$ector is the barometer o the :ational economy. In angladesh Real
Estate usiness started in haka in late seventies. uring ;s there
were ewer than ? companies engaged in this business. In ;>A there are
about B?> companies engaged in this business.
