In 1998, the SIU created its Foundation (FSIU) to grant educational scholarships, provide teaching fellowships, conduct research and advance medical education in urology in the developing world. In the last 10 years, the SIU has provided 200 urologists with over $1 million in total funding.

ABOUT SIU

uCARE is a new online platform for global clinical research in urology. The first of its kind in the field of urological clinical research, uCARE connects urologists and patients to clinical studies and registries being conducted around the world. It provides access to a growing and dynamic database of urological clinical trial information, and increas-es the visibility of active trials and emerging treatments for urological conditions.

SIU includes key congress material on its SIU Academy eLearning platform, making it available to over 49,000 registered users.

Launched in 2013, SIU Academy allows urologists to instantly access a rich library of digital educational content, including lectures, videos, live surgeries, case discussions, webcasts, reports and more. The user-friendly interface allows users to filter, drill down and browse content quickly and easily. In addition to developing its own content, SIU collaborates with global pharmaceutical and medical device companies to develop rich educational programmes.

Annual CongressEvery year, SIU hosts a congress in a different location around the world. This premier event offers a wide range of sponsorship opportunities, including symposia, hands-on training sessions, and the SIU-ICUD joint consultation on urological diseases.

Urologists who can’t attend the congress in person can still experience it using our SIU@U virtual congress platform. SIU@U allows real-time and on-demand access to plenaries, master classes, discussions and content designed exclusively for online attendees.
