IN OLD MASSACHUSETTS, DELTA® FAUCETS ARE HELPING WEARY VOYAGERS DISCOVER A NEW DESTINATION.

Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor puts a modern spin on history.

Steps away from the spot where Pilgrims arrived nearly 400 years ago, Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor beckons present-day travelers with an inviting mixture of old traditions and new styles. Creating this 177-room hotel, however, required an extensive renovation of a structure originally built in 1985—and a carefully considered redesign by Dallas, Texas’ Joyce DESIGN Group.

Seeking balance between past and present.

In collaboration with her coworkers, senior designer Amy Steen-Humble married traditional New England textures such as plaids and plush velvets to cleaner, more modern design elements—fashioning a comfortably progressive style she termed “tailored modern.” For the hotel’s bathrooms, she specified products from the Delta Trinsic® Bath Collection—balancing the line’s sleek, contemporary style with a warm Champagne Bronze™ finish. Unlike the “living surface” of brushed brass, the Delta products’ durable PVD coatings ensure that they will look new for life, greeting each new guest with the same luster as they did those who came before.
