Hot Rolling Mills for Aluminium Industry

Hot Rolling Mills are key process equipment in the production of Aluminium Flat products.

They are used in the conventional production route hot rolling plants and also in conjunction with the Hazelett Casting technology to make an efficient and productive Continuous Casting Hot Rolling Process.

Due to the multi stands configuration, which guarantee also modularity in terms of financial investment, the Continuous Hot Rolling Mills meet the flexibility levels requested by the Aluminium Industry.

To address the challenges of the industry, FATA Hunter has introduced on the market, a mill design which integrates the latest equipment and technology developments in order to meet the expectation of the Aluminium Producers.

– Hot band Flatness control

Fata Hunter is developing, in cooperation with ABB, the possibility to install and operate the Flatness measuring roll at the exit of the Hot Rolling Mill in order to increase the flatness quality of the produced strip.

The idea is to realize a closed loop with the Flatness roll in conjunction with the Mill stand Bending actuators and Rolls Cooling multizone spray bars.
