Torun is founded in 2000 as subcontracting company of hot forged & machined brass items as per customer drawings.

As being a subcontractor without any standard product range, our team is dedicated to meet the challenges of continuously increasing product range coming from different sectors, among others cooling & heating systems, automotive, fire & security, medical appliances, fluid control, testing equipment etc. Torun is an export-oriented company having export rate of 99% and with her clients well-known and situated all over Europe.

Our business approach is based on close relation with our clients in order to become partners. This is the key to tailor-made business solutions from stock arrangements to long-term price fixing decisions to the favor of our partners. In order to realize this, our sales organization is extending to the heart of Europe with sales office in Hannover, Germany.

Regular visits to our partners are aimed not only to tackle the issues of daily business but also to make the future together by facilitating the co-operation to mutual benefits.

Material, a crucial aspect of the business, is well managed as Torun having expertise of 20 years in brass market until she left to be a brass rod mill and substituted that with different sources of material contracted in a wide hinterland, thanks to her history and experience.

Die Manufacturing

Our die shop is self-sufficient with wide range of machinery and equipments.We use vertical CNC Machining centers and Wire Cutting Machine as well as other complementary machinery. Our stock covers dies sets from different type of steels to meet every need and for urgent cases hardened steel die sets. Design of the tool is accomplished in CAD system and automatically converted to CAM program, which is then fed into the CNC Machining Centers.All maintenance and sparing for forging dies is carried out in Torun for a non-interrupted production.

Design

Starting makes half of the business. Therefore, at the beginning all technical points should be clarified not only to get missing points on the drawings but also to obtain all insight about the part. Sampling stage plays a crucial role in the life of the part. All technical desks in Torun come together in order to make through analysis of each part and work in harmony to sort out any inter-disciplinary issues in advance.It is not a surprise that they will come up with proposals for cost-effectiveness of your part.

When raw parts come to machining line, cutting tools should be ready free of doubts. That is where our cutting tool shop guarantees planned production realizes on time. As we do our own cutting tools, we have full control over the quality and flexibility with Machinery Park involving latest CNC technology. In that respect, our machining shop always has confidence and feels the support of tool shop.

As we are giving dedicated service for each client, our machining shop is shaped to meet different needs with a variety of machinery; Transfers, CNC Machining Centers, CNC Lathes. Thanks to this variety, a wide range of complexity and quantity is covered in production. Our engineers are given full responsibility to follow the latest technology and are encouraged to visit machinery fairs and builders.Using up-to-date technology and automation is essential to keep up with latest needs in the market.

Quality

Quality Department in Torun is well-equipped with various sophisticated equipments including CMM. The measurement devices are connected to computers and various kind of reports as per request are available for our partners where traceability is also ensured.Quality is monitored at all times not only by assigned inspectors but also all units involved throughout whole production.In short, quality is to be produced during production process rather than controlled.

Hot Forging

In press shop, there is wide range of automatic presses with different tonnages and to the latest technology in order to sustain cost-optimization for various parts with different weights and shapes. With insulated and temperature-controlled furnaces, the forged parts are guaranteed to have sustained quality throughout forging process.Forging with or without cores are both available solutions depending on your part. Our engineers in forging, machining and tool shops gather, for each project, to decide on the best solution for each part.

Logistics

All orders are handled by our Planning department, where our partners receive periodical information on status of orders and you will feel comfortable to contact.Arrangements of shipments to cut freight costs on your behalf are well-managed on agreements.The goods are delivered until to your warehouse with also options provided to keep stocks at close destinations, where lead-times are cut to minimum.
