CREAM OR JAM FIRST?

It is considered that in Devon, one typically spreads the clotted cream on their scone first followed by jam.

Cornish tradition is to spread the jam first, followed by the cream.

According to the former chef of the royal family, the Queen prefers jam first. What’s your preference?
