It was an exciting and jam packed tour for the New Zealanders with Easter in Brisbane and ANZAC Day on Fraser Island. Russell, Lindsay and the crew pulled together a fabulous itinerary for our visitors and an outstanding service at the Maheno wreck to commemorate ANZAC Day. It was wonderful to see close to 1,000 people at the service on the beach. Lunch afterwards was inspired by Christmas Lunch on the Maheno during the war and was enjoyed by Rotarians, Maheno visitors, service people and the local MP Ted Sorrenson. There are lots of photos in this issue! With another successful ANZAC Day behind us, it’s time to focus on the upcoming art show.
