Introduction and Statement of the Problems:

PROBLEM FACED BY HOSTEL STUDENTS IN SURAT CITY

A student going for study away from their home and staying as paying guest and getting

all the basic facility is called hostel. Mainly hostel seems in urban areas. Mainly doing

management of the hostel by the management committee or by trust as well. Hostel

normally provided by college, social trust, etc. However there are many problems

regarding college facilities are faced by students live in hostel. There are many hostels

are located in surat city and there are satisfaction or dissatisfaction of students towards

that hostels.

Research Objectives:

To find the student view about hostel facility. To know recent scenario about hostel facilities. To find the transportation and locality advantage of students regarding hostels. To know which type of problems faced by hostel students.

MYSORE: Bettadapura Chikkavera Deshikendra Swami student hostel alumni

association has invited students for hostel facilities provide to students. Association

president R S Channappa on Tuesday told reporters to find out requirements of

students in hostel as they are opening a free hostel in city. Medical, engineering, degree

and diploma students were eligible to avail the facility. Only 50 students were

accommodated.

Benefits of Study:

This survey helps to learn about the nature of the student and demand of thestudent.

It helps to know that what kind of facilities provided to students in hostel inpresent time.

This study also helps to know that what kind of problem faced by students inhostel.

Limitation of Study:

The results may not be applicable in wider population. Time constrain is also a limitation of these research.

Data collection tool: Questionnaire

Sample size: 50

Data Analysis:
